It was time to move Jonathan to the toddler bed. Bill set up the bed in time for Jonathan's afternoon nap - it took a few minutes for him to settle, but once he fell asleep he slept for almost 2 hours.
Bedtime came, we had made a huge deal of him now having a big boy bed, which he was very proud of. He climbed in by himself, jumped up and down, played with his toys....then it was time to sleep....
Bill settled him down - he did it, he slept all night (and didn't fall out - he waited until his 2nd night in bed to do that!)
