Local Community Egg Hunt

Today was the local community Easter Egg Hunt. We started in the community center where there were crafts and games for the kids. Both boys got to decorate a cookie, here's Jonathan enjoying his....

Ben joined in a couple of the games, he actually won a teddy in a musical-chairs-like-game, then he ran in an egg and spoon race, well, he actually walked (looking thoroughly embarrassed the entire time).

Then it was outside for the egg hunt, the boys were in 2 different groups, Jonathan with the pre-K and under and Jonathan with the K through 2nd grade. In typical Ross/Rust fashion, both boys were the slowest at finding the eggs - oh well, they had fun (well, until a branch hit Ben in the nose).

Some of the eggs contained whistles, not sure if that was a good or bad idea - the noise was unbelievable with all the kids blowing their whistles. It didn't take Jonathan long to discover that candy tastes good.
